Thank you, Dr. Wight and the team, for the amazing care of our fur baby, Cash. He had 2 TPLO surgeries also he has immune system problems, which didn't make recovery easy. He is a big 85lb boy. We were looking for a surgeon, and our neighbor recommended a Veterinary surgery. She had her dog's spine operated and used their services and couldn't say enough good words about care and recovery. He is a smart dog and quickly learn how to remove cone from his head, and remove staples.That wasn't easy for any of us. We found the best solution was for him to wear pants. He is happy and back to activities. We highly recommend their services who loves fur babies! They always answered every call and checked how is healing process was going. Thank you.

I traveled almost 6 hours from central Florida to get a partial thyroidectomy for my 12-year old dog. All of the places I priced in my area were astronomically high and I was wondering if I would even be able to afford the surgery at all. Veterinary Surgery Service Inc was very transparent with their costs and answered all my questions. Dr. Wight and his staff were amazing! Very friendly and knowledgeable. My dog made a quick recovery with no complications. Dr Wight even called personally to update us on lab results and answer any postop questions I had. It was definitely worth the drive. The surgical cost turned out to be even lower than what they had initially quoted me! Dr. Wight could easily charge twice the amount he does which just goes to show he actually loves his job and taking care of other people's fur babies. I highly recommend this place and Dr. Wight.

My Veterinarian referred me to Dr. Wight for a TECA BO surgery on my Cocker Spaniel. The staff there was exceptional! I was confident in Dr. Wight the moment I met him. He sat on the floor with my Daisy Mae to introduce himself to her and examine her. He explained the surgery and recovery. The price is all inclusive,so I knew what to expect financially. Her surgery was scheduled but she started getting worse, so they were able to do it a week earlier due to a cancellation. Surgery went very well…They took very good care of Daisy and kept her an additional day for observation. The staff was always kind and patient with my questions and concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Wight for excellent surgical care of your fur baby.

Dr Wright and his staff set the example for how a family member should be treated!!! One of our Bullies has had the typical issues with both of his rear legs that a bully can have. He has had four surgeries over the last three years. One leg went perfect but the other being stubborn had to have additional surgeries. Dr. Wright went above and beyond to make sure it was done right!!! I believe any other surgeon would have said there was nothing else that could be done.

My French Bulldog just had Brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome (BOAS) surgery and removal of a cancerous tumor with Dr. Wight It was a great experience. Dr. Wight explains everything and gives you time to ask questions. The office is organized, clean and calm. The Staff is kind and attentive to your pet. I am very pleased with my dog’s healing and minimal discomfort from the surgery. An easy pain management protocol was given to keep him comfortable at home. I am thankful to have a Specialized Veterinary Surgery office here in Fort Walton. You can trust your Pet is in excellent care with Dr. Wight and his staff.

Luna had her PLDA procedure with Dr Wight last Tuesday. Our experience was excellent. Dr Wight and his team took great care of our baby. They were very informative, professional, and easy to work with. We appreciate the great care. I would absolutely use their services again if needed and recommend this place to anyone. This is the only surgery center in Florida that does this procedure and I’m very happy we found it. We traveled almost 9 hours from Naples, but it was totally worth it. Thank you for everything!!

I cannot thank Dr. Wight and his incredible veterinary staff enough for the exceptional care they provided to my French bulldog during her surgery! From the very first consultation to the follow-up care, we felt completely supported, informed, and genuinely cared for. I’m writing this partly as a positive review (and I rarely ever write reviews) and partly as a sincere thanks for taking such good care of my precious little Juliette.

Five stars for Veterinary Surgery Service, Inc. in Fort Walton Beach! Dr. Wight and his staff are the definition of professional, polite, and compassionate. They recently performed gallbladder surgery on my dog, and I couldn't be happier with the care we received. They truly love animals and it shows in everything they do. Dr. Wight and his staff are truly angels. After doing extensive research, we drove from Texas to come get our baby Diana her life saving/changing liver shunt surgery and our entire experience from the beginning was amazing. Dr Wight is extremely professional and empathetic and you can tell he loves the animals. He walked us through everything to expect, did her ultrasound, CT scan and surgery. Diana’s surgery went well and she is recovering perfectly so far. We cannot thank you guys enough.
